Social media character counter
Paste a post once and see how it fits on every major network. Each platform counts differently — X weighs links and emoji, Bluesky counts what you see — so one number is never enough.

Why does the same post have different counts?
Each network counts its own way. X gives every link a fixed weight of 23 and counts emoji and most non-Latin characters as 2; Bluesky counts graphemes, so a family emoji is one character; Mastodon also counts links as 23.
Is my text stored?
