MCP server for AI agents

Let your AI assistant run your social media calendar.

Ask Claude, Cursor or any MCP client to "write three posts for next week and schedule them on my Facebook Page". It uses PostClaw to check your channels, draft the posts in your brand voice and put them on your calendar — with your plan's limits and your permissions.

What your assistant can do

Read

  • list_channels

    Connected accounts and pages you can publish to

  • list_posts / get_post

    Drafts, scheduled and published posts, with live URLs and errors

  • get_analytics

    Totals, per-platform breakdown, best times, top posts

  • suggest_posting_times

    Good slots per platform, ready for scheduling

Write

  • generate_post

    Post text from a brief, optionally in your brand voice

  • adapt_post

    One piece of content rewritten for each platform

  • create_image

    AI images for your posts

  • upload_media / add_media_to_post

    Attach your own images and video

  • create_post / update_post

    Drafts for you to review, or scheduled posts

Publish

  • publish_post

    Publish now and get each platform's live post URL

  • unschedule_post

    Move a scheduled post back to draft

  • delete_post

    Remove a post from PostClaw

Connect in two minutes

  1. Create a free PostClaw account and connect a social account.
  2. Open Settings → AI agents and create a token. Copy it; it is shown once.
  3. Add the server to your assistant:

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http postclaw https://app.postclaw.fun/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"

Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json)

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "postclaw": {
      "url": "https://app.postclaw.fun/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
      }
    }
  }
}

Other clients: Streamable HTTP at https://app.postclaw.fun/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN. The setup guide has the VS Code config, permissions, limits and troubleshooting.

You decide what it may do

Each token has permissions: Read, Write (drafts, media, AI writing) and Publish (schedule, publish, delete). Publish is off unless you turn it on, so by default an assistant leaves drafts for you to approve. Revoke a token and the assistant loses access on its next request.

Same limits as the app

Posts per month, AI credits and image quota count the same through an assistant as in PostClaw. AI tools use your own AI key when you have one connected. Every call is logged to your account.

Good to know

  • Claude.ai and ChatGPT in the browser need an OAuth sign-in, which is not available yet.
  • Facebook publishes to Pages only, LinkedIn to your personal profile only, and X (Twitter) needs a paid plan.
  • Media must be an https URL or a file you upload through the server.

Questions

What is the PostClaw MCP server?

A remote Model Context Protocol server at https://app.postclaw.fun/mcp. AI assistants that support MCP, such as Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code, connect to it and can read your channels and analytics, write posts and schedule or publish them on your connected social accounts.

Is it free?

Yes, on every plan, including Free. The usual plan limits apply: posts per month, AI credits and image quota are the same whether you work in the app or through an assistant.

Can an assistant post without asking me?

Only if you allow it. A token with Read and Write permissions can create drafts that you review in PostClaw. Scheduling and publishing need the separate Publish permission, which is off by default.

Does it work with Claude.ai or ChatGPT in the browser?

Not yet. Those apps need an OAuth sign-in flow, which is planned. Today it works with clients that can send an authorization header: Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other Streamable HTTP clients.

How do I stop an assistant?

Revoke its token in Settings → AI agents. The next request from that assistant is refused.
