30 Social Media Post Ideas for E-commerce Brands and Online Shops
An online shop has no shop window, so social media has to be it. The brands that sell from their posts show the product being used, the people who make and pack it, and the customers who love it — far more often than they post a discount. The ideas below suit small brands on Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce or their own site.
How to use this list: plan one product story, one useful post and one customer post each week, and add launches when they happen. Our free content calendar template keeps it organised.

A note on influencer and gifted posts
If you send free products to creators or pay them to post, they need to disclose it clearly (for example #ad or "gifted"), and so do you when you repost. Check the advertising rules where you and your customers are, such as the FTC endorsement guides in the US.
