PostClaw uses Stripe for all billing. No hidden fees.

AI credits are token-based: every AI generation (content, hashtags, workflows, automations) deducts credits by length. Adding your own API key (BYOK) bypasses all AI credit limits.
Free never asks for a card. Paid plans bill through Stripe from the day you subscribe and can be cancelled anytime from Settings → Billing → Manage Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Connect: first month for $1
New customers get their first month of Connect for $1, then the regular $10/month. Connect runs entirely on your own AI keys (bring-your-own-key): 10 connected accounts, unlimited scheduled posts, AI chat, workflows and automations, news research and the scraper.
- The $1 price shows on the Connect card when your account qualifies and is applied automatically at checkout — there is no code to enter.
- Once per account, and only for accounts that have never had a paid subscription. Cancelling and re-subscribing does not repeat it.
- Monthly billing only; the yearly plan stays $100/year.
- Stripe shows “$1.00 due today, then $10.00/month” before you pay, and you can cancel before the renewal.

Switch to annual billing any time under Settings → Billing.
Upgrading / Downgrading
Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you’re charged a prorated amount immediately.
Downgrading does not delete data — posts, accounts, and automations are preserved but may be paused if they exceed the new plan’s limits.

- ACH Bank Transfer (US, annual plans only)
Invoices
Download invoices from Settings → Billing → Invoice History. Each invoice is a PDF with your company name and VAT number if provided.
BYOK and Billing
Adding your own AI API keys (BYOK) bypasses the PostClaw AI quota. Your plan price stays the same — you just pay your AI provider directly for the calls you make.
BYOK is available on all paid plans. Configure keys under Settings → AI Agent → BYOK.
Cancellation
Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Cancel Plan. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds.

Tax and VAT
PostClaw applies VAT automatically for EU customers based on billing address. Provide your VAT ID during checkout to apply reverse charge. US sales tax is collected where required by law (handled by Stripe Tax).
